A Mocktail Girlie Take on the Masters Signature Drink: The Azalea
If you’re anything like me, springtime means a few key things: longer days, blooming flowers, a fresh start—and yes, the Masters. Whether you’re a golf girlie, a casual watcher, or just in it for the pretty green jackets and the iconic traditions, there’s something undeniably charming about the Masters Tournament. And of course, no Masters weekend is complete without sipping on their signature drink: The Azalea.

Traditionally made with vodka, lemonade, grenadine, and a splash of pineapple juice, the Azalea is named after the bright, beautiful flowers lining Augusta National Golf Club. It’s sweet, pink, and just the right amount of festive for a spring weekend.
But you know I had to give it the Mocktail Girlie treatment. So
I’m bringing you two non-alcoholic versions of the Azalea—both super easy to make, bright in color, and full of springy citrus vibes. Whether you're hosting a Masters watch party or just want something cute to sip outside in the sunshine, these drinks deliver.

Why I Love The Masters Azalea Mocktail
This drink is just such a vibe. It’s pink and playful, but with the right balance of citrus and sweetness to make it feel special—not like a sugar bomb. And best of all, you can sip it all afternoon with zero hangover worries.
I love how easy both versions are to make, and how you can switch things up depending on your mood or what you have on hand. That’s what mocktail life is all about: freedom, fun, and flavors that fit your day.
Option 1: NA Gin-Based
This version is great for those of you who like your mocktails with a little complexity. The non-alcoholic gin adds a botanical backbone that keeps things tasting elevated and cocktail-y without any booze.
Ingredients
• 1.25 oz NA gin (I linked my favorites here! I used ISH most recently, and I really like it)
• 5 oz lemonade
• 1/2 oz grenadine
• cherry and orange slice
Option 2: Pineapple Version
This one skips the NA spirit and leans into the tropical side. It’s fruity, fun, and tastes like sunshine

in a glass. No special ingredients required!
Ingredients:
1.25 oz pineapple juice
5 oz lemonade
½ oz grenadine
Garnish: cherry + orange slice
Tips to Elevate Your Azalea Mocktail Moment:
Batch it: Hosting a watch party? Triple or quadruple the recipe and serve in a big glass
pitcher or drink dispenser.
Upgrade your ice: Try pebble ice or floral ice cubes with edible flowers frozen inside for extra spring flair.
Add bubbles: Want a sparkling version? Top with a splash of club soda or lemon sparkling water to make it fizzy and refreshing.
Make it your own: Want it less sweet? Dial back the grenadine. Prefer a stronger citrus hit? Add a squeeze of fresh lemon or a splash of orange juice.
So this Masters weekend, whether you're watching the leaderboard or just looking for a moment of springtime bliss, pour yourself a Mocktail Girlie Azalea and enjoy the view.
Cheers to warm weather, cute drinks, and doing things your way.
